Hello All:
LET IT SNOW…BUT NOT TOO MUCH: As things taper off it looks like we’ve had about 2” of snow since last evening. This shouldn’t cause any discernable problems by Saturday; HOWEVER, we want to remind you not to take the Google directions from Highway 78. Those directions take you on 2 miles of dirt road on M. If coming from 78 please drive to Road N, turn west and drive 3 miles to Road 1900 then drive 1 mile south.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE… Proverbs 24:27 “Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.” …you will see a new structure north of the sale building. This structure is called a house…so I’m told. Although our work outside isn’t done we have spent the past 27 years preparing fields. For the past 15 years the 5-year plan has been to get one of these. My wife is VERY patient with me, well, regarding a house anyway. It is our hope that at least by the next sale we will be living there. I consider work ethic a gift of grace from God. Decision making is too. The blessing of those decisions…absolutely a gift. A lot of work (and prayer), by a lot of people, with God adding His measure of blessing, is a tremendous gift in this lifetime. Never fail to praise God for the good you have. Romans 12:3 “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.”
BIASED: They look good now (my opinion bias)…but they are going to blossom on some good green forage in a couple of months (my experience bias). Genetic selection and appropriate development protocols are a MUST, for us to sell the right kind of animals to you and for you to make progress in your own herd. Keep grinding!!!
This might be the last update you have to endure before the sale! Look forward to interacting with you, in person or cyberspacily, Saturday.
